Meet McKenna
McKenna Brye is an artist and performer who grew up in Fargo, North Dakota. It was through a middle school production of Xanadu Jr. that McKenna's passion for musical theater sparked and she has been performing ever since.
Her love for the arts led her to Oklahoma City University where she earned a BM in Music Theater and a BM in Vocal Performance last May of 2024. During her time at OCU, she performed in Legally Blonde (Pilar), The Magic Flute (Child #1), Children of Eden (Ensemble), and 35MM: A Musical Exhibition (She).

McKenna made her regional debut in Prairie Repertory Theater's 2023 Summer season in shows such as Godspell (Uzo/"By My Side") and Oklahoma! (Virginia). She has also performed with Trollwood Performing Arts at the Bluestem Amphitheater for audiences of 3,000+ in productions such as Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (Ella) and Freaky Friday (Ellie). It was through working at the Trollwood Summer Academy that she discovered her love for teaching and understanding the behind-the-scenes of a production.

While she's not on stage, McKenna is a huge bookworm and can be seen reading any chance she can get. She also loves crocheting, cross-stitching, pilates, spending time with her family, and is a frequent Golden Girls watcher.
